Retrouvailles

It was Saturday, 5'o clock.
I just got home while my phone kept reminding about what we called responsibilities.
I took few milk candies and I blamed myself for the device that can save what we called responsibilities.
I jumped to the bed and I planned what to watch tonight.

I overslept and questioned how could I don't realize tiredness inside.
I giggled by myself, I was too pahhy. Pahhy-pahhy-happy.
Don't ask, I just added pahhy as adjective which could fit for your Saturday night.

Non-sense but happy. Fragile but happy.
There was nothing to besides writing how come dancing marionette could get broken so easily.
I needed toy box. I needed margarita with 0% alcohol.
Happiness stayed for so long, and started getting bored.
It craves some more friends called joy, bliss, delight, enjoyment and blablabla.

What did I have to do then? Followed my desire?
I forgot to watch DVD so I wrote and I tweeted.

So again, I ended the day happily.

PS: Yesterday I ended it with Oreo and Adobe Illustrator.
Some say I need retrouvailles to share this shit called happiness.

Retrouvailles (French): The happiness of meeting again after a long time.

Not So Pathetic Workaholic

"Being part of advertising industry is one my best pleasure in my life." said Shu in his blog. Shu couldn't thank God enough because of his recent lucks. Few months before he graduated, he had been working in one of most prestigious advertising agency in capital city. Winning several advertising competition category student made him recognized as young rising star in this creative industry.

6 years after graduation, Shu was already titled as youngest creative director in nation. Praise was no longer flattering to him except the ones from clients. Passionate and ambitious were two words that fitted when it came to represent himself. Ad-people knew Shu as one of best creative director to cooperate with.

Now, those glorious spans were only memory to Shu. He retired after spending 30 years in industry. Sentenced having lung cancer, Shu tried hard to hide his fear  in front of  his devoted wife, Martha. Luckily Martha would always be on his side whenever Shu needs her.

One day Shu found the blog that he wrote 30 years ago. Shu couldn't hold his tears and what Martha could only do was sitting beside him and offering shoulder to cry on. He suddenly remembered what he faced back then like over time assignments, overloaded projects and another devastating job things.

"It seems like big mistake, but I regret nothing in this life. Thank you for being faithful to me while I  was being too faithful to my own job. I'm glad that I'm spending the rest of life with you, Martha," said him.

Sumpah Serabi

Did I disappoint you or let you down?
Should I be feeling guilty or let the judges frown?
'Cause I saw the end before we'd begun,
Yes I saw you were blinded and I knew I had won.

"Enak nggak sih surabinya menurut lo?"
"Lumayanlah. Gue sih nggak terlalu suka surabi cuman emang yang ini cocok aja sama lidah gue"
"Enakan mana sama serabi?"
"Emm... enakan sorabi."
"Hahaha... Banyak nama arti sama."

"Hmm.. Sampai bosen."
"Kapan?"
"Tanya surabi gue aja nih. Dia tau kali."
"Yeeee.."

"Gini aja, gimana kalau kita buat perjanjian."
"Perjanjian?
"Gue? Gue janji gue bakal nasehatin lo terus kayak gini. Hahahaha..." Saya tertawa sekiranya untuk menutupi kehabisan ide apa lagi agar dia mau serius.

Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.

I'm so hollow, baby, I'm so hollow.
I'm so, I'm so, I'm so hollow.
I'm so hollow, baby, I'm so hollow.
I'm so, I'm so, I'm so hollow.

"Lo yakin, Gemini? Move on aja susah." Timbal saya. Mengakhir perbincangan kita.
